Brain V/s Sleep

Lights were off,
And eyes were closed,
Limbs were relaxed
And cushion was close
It's better to sleep
Or else mind would loose control!

Oh my Goodness!
It already had
So, I recreated my strengths
And asked it why?
Why it want me to have dark circles
Around my eyes!

It pointed to the centre,
Where the heart lies
I found it sobbing quietly
And I need not to ask it why!

I opened my eyes 
And thought of those things
That my brain wanted me to think
I cried, I laughed, I yelled, I smiled
I sustain my emotions
Unless my brain cried
“Let me sleep”

I dropped all my thoughts
And packed my eyes
Lights were still off
But Sun has smiled!

I begged my brain
But again it cried
“I neither care about Sun
Nor about life,
Let us take a nap
Otherwise what we do tonight”!
